Atlantic recording group NEEDTOBREATHE makes a powerful homecoming with their eagerly anticipated second album, “THE HEAT.” Co-produced by the band alongside Rick Beato (Shinedown, Jump Little Children) and Collective Soul mastermind Ed Roland, the record sees the South Carolina-based rock outfit digging into their down-home roots to create a remarkably passionate and personal new collection. Charlottesville, Virginia’s appointed “hybrid-rock geniuses,” Trees on Fire delivers airtight four-part harmonies supported by a unique blend of electronic and organic styles that gives rise to the term “organica.” Formed in music school and honed through live performance and rehearsals in the deep woods, Trees on Fire spreads its original, innovative grooves and delivers its inspirational messages to thousands along the east coast. The group’s debut CD, The Green Room (April 2007), captures the genre-bending cross pollination that takes place when this quintet comes together.
